The Authentik Skin foundation is described as a natural and luminous foundation and many people have compared it to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous foundation.

I first decided to try the foundation, the concealer will be one of the next ones I want to try. So when they released complexion products I was very excited. It’s available on for €26.Zoeva is for sure one of my favorite brands but I have mainly tried their palettes. So, overall I think that it’s an OK foundation, and I love that in comes in such a wide shaderange, but I don’t think that it’s anything special, and, unless you have more of a normal-dry skintype, I don’t think it would be the best choice. However, when it comes to the longevity and coverage on this, I will say that it holds up to it’s claims, because it is a very buildable medium-full coverage, and, even though it started to fade a little after 6-ish hours, it did last all day, so I was very pleased with that.Īnd it didn’t emphasize my pores, or any dry patches that I have, so I can’t say that it’s a bad product, it just didn’t work for me personally. Now, that might be because I have more combination skin, but since it claims to be a natural-luminous finish, and my skin get’s a little drier in the colder months, I didn’t think it would matter all that much, so it’s definitely something to keep in mind if you’re interested in trying it. Now, the first thing I noticed when I tried this was that it felt a little heavy, and it did look a little drying on my skin, but I’ve tried foundations that do that in the past, and most of the time they look a lot better once I’ve applied the rest of makeup, and it did for a few hours, but then it got very greasy, and when I tried to touch it up it looked very heavy and cakey, and that’s not something I want my foundation to do. So, I’ve tried several different powder products from Zoeva in the past, and it’s been a few hits and misses, but when I saw that they’d released a foundation, I got really curious to try it, but this didn’t answer to my expectetions.
